FSU Central Utilities Plant Waterproofing
The Central Utility Plant Waterproofing and Window Replacement project consisted of exterior envelope improvements to a facility that is staffed and operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The improvements included abatement of exterior windows and installation of new windows, restoration of exterior brick and cast stone, and waterproofing of the exterior masonry envelope. Restoration actives, while focused on the exterior of the building, required daily coordination with facility staff to ensure facility operation continued uninterrupted and to ensure the safety of the subcontractors performing the work as well as facility staff. The Central Utility Plant is located on Florida State University’s campus.
